Your data: export and deletion

#Deleting a study

From the studies list, the row menu has Delete; the study's edit page has the same at the bottom. An owner can delete any study; a member can delete the ones they created. The plan file, its markup, every scenario, fleet line, assumption, telemetry row and share link go with it, and the deletion is written to the audit log. There is no undo — reports you have already printed or saved as PDF are of course unaffected.

#Exporting the organisation

Settings → Your data → Download the export, for owners. One zip archive holding:

studies.json

Every study with its client, status, plan (scale and markup geometry), scenarios, fleet lines, assumptions, telemetry and share links.

plans/

The original site plan files, named by study reference.

machines.csv

Every machine profile in the same columns Integrations imports, so a library can be moved to another organisation or installation.

organisation.json

The organisation, its people and open invitations.

audit.csv

The audit log.

Nothing is left out and nothing is encrypted; treat the archive as you would the studies themselves. Making one is itself recorded in the audit log.

#Leaving an organisation

A member can remove their own account from Settings → Your data, with their password. Studies they created stay with the organisation; only their name, email and profile picture go, and the owners are emailed. Owners cannot leave this way — hand ownership to someone else on the Team page first, or delete the organisation.

#Deleting the organisation

Also under Settings → Your data, for owners, on auddomate.com. Type the organisation's name and your password. Everything goes at once: every study, plan, machine, report, share link and person, the audit log, and any subscription is cancelled. A confirmation is emailed to you, and the only trace on our side is a note that an organisation of that name was deleted.
