New Every guide has a page per language — auddomate.com/de/docs/clearance, /ja/docs/throughput, /zh-hans/docs/single-sign-on and so on — with the sidebar, search, reading time, previous and next links and the code-copy button in that language too.
New Links between guides stay in the language you are reading, and the language row at the foot of a guide switches that guide rather than sending you back to the start.
Improved Search engines are told which guide is which language, and the site map now lists all 387 guide addresses alongside the public pages.

The front door opens in nine languages

The home page, pricing, Enterprise and the comparison now exist in all nine languages at their own addresses, so a search in German or Japanese can land on Auddomate in German or Japanese.

New Home, Pricing, Enterprise and Compare each have a page per language — auddomate.com/de/pricing, /ja/, /zh-hans/compare and so on — written in that language rather than translated in the browser after the fact. Search engines are told which page is which language, and which is the original.
New A language row at the foot of every public page switches the page you are on; the guides and the rest of the site stay in English for now.
Improved The site map lists the new addresses, and the cost calculator on Compare writes its sentences in the language of the page.

The public site now tells search engines what each page is, which page is the real one, and lists every guide in the site map.

Menus that open where they should, and a role you can change in the demo

A sweep across every page turned up a handful of things that were not right: a few missing labels, a role menu that did nothing in the demo, menus cut off inside tables, and the case studies page.

Fixed The Team page role menu can be used in the demo, so a visitor can see what changing a member from Member to Owner does. It still asks before it changes anything.
Fixed Row menus that opened inside a scrolling table were cut off at the table edge on narrow screens. They now open above the page and close when you scroll.
Fixed Three labels that had gone missing: Duplicate on a machine profile, the hosting-access lines on Platform, and the button on the plan gate.
Fixed The Case studies page was showing stale figures and, on some servers, warnings at the top of the page. Every number in the four write-ups now matches what the demo actually models, and the second scenario in the cross-dock study is described.

Backups leave the building; the machine form speaks inches

Each nightly backup can now be copied to an S3-compatible bucket off the server, and the machine profile form takes inches, pounds and miles per hour when your units are imperial.

New Off-site backups: point the installation at any S3-compatible bucket — Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, Cloudflare R2, Wasabi, MinIO — and every nightly archive is copied there after it is made, signed with AWS Signature V4 and verified by content hash. Platform → Installations shows the last copy, its bucket and any error, with Copy the latest backup now; a failed copy emails the platform contact.
New The machine profile form follows your units. In imperial the fields read in, lb and mph, accept decimals, and the typical figures offered for a class are converted before they are shown. Everything is still stored in millimetres, kilograms and millimetres per second, so libraries built in different units are one library.
Improved A new guide, Metric and imperial, under Team and settings; the Housekeeping guide describes the off-site copy.

Single sign-on (SSO) speaks SAML too

Beside OpenID Connect, an organisation can now connect its identity provider over SAML 2.0 — the older enterprise standard that stricter identity teams ask for.

New Settings → Single sign-on offers a choice of protocol. SAML needs the provider's sign-in URL and signing certificate; Auddomate shows its own entity ID and reply URL and serves a metadata file the provider can read.
New Every SAML response is verified in full: signature on the assertion or the response against the certificate on file, digest recomputed, issuer, audience, recipient, validity window and in-reply-to checked against the request that was sent, and each assertion accepted once. External entities are disabled when the XML is read.
New Email is taken from the NameID or an email attribute; a display name attribute is used when present. Automatic joining, the email domain rule, enforcement for members and the Test sign-in button work exactly as they do for OpenID Connect.
Improved The single sign-on guide explains when to choose which protocol and walks through both set-ups.

The catalogue grows to 36 models from 11 makers, every figure read from a published datasheet on the date shown.

A PDF you can send

Download PDF makes the report on the server — fonts embedded, the site layout drawn as vectors, the same on every computer — for the live study, for a saved version, from a share link, and through the API.

New Download PDF on the report page. Title, summary, the site layout as a vector drawing with aisles that fail the clearance check tinted red, the fleet and the model for every scenario, telemetry where it exists, and the provenance line at the foot. Follows your language and units.
New The same button on a saved version gives you that version, marked as such on every page; a client reading a share link gets Download PDF in the language they are reading in.
New GET /api/v1/studies/{ref}/pdf and /versions/{n}/pdf return the file, with ?lang= and ?units= to choose.
New Made without any external converter, so it works on shared hosting exactly as on a server of your own. Latin scripts embed Inter and Instrument Serif; Hindi embeds Noto Sans Devanagari; Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese use the reader's own CJK font through the standard character collections.
Improved Export PDF on the report page is now Print — the browser's rendering of the full page, unchanged — beside the new Download PDF.
Improved Every language pack is now available to the server, so anything generated there — PDFs today — comes out in the reader's language rather than English.

Versions: a study frozen at a moment — fleet, assumptions, plan file and results — saved when it is delivered or whenever you say, and comparable with the live study line by line.

New Marking a study delivered saves a version automatically. On the report page, Versions → Save a version does it by hand, with a note saying why.
New Open a version and it is the report as it stood, printable, with who saved it, when and why. The plan file is archived with it, so a drawing that has since been replaced can still be downloaded.
New Compare with live lists only what changed since: fleet lines as units × shifts, demand, distance, verdicts, scale, plan file. Nothing changed, it says so.
New Versions travel with the organisation export and through the API as /studies/{ref}/versions, with ?diff=1 for the comparison.
Improved The demo carries three versions across two studies, including one that turns a short verdict into a fit, so the comparison has something to show.

The numbers, in your own tools

An API: read every study with its plan, scenarios, throughput and aisle check, your machine library and the catalogue, and push run data in — with one key per system.

New Settings → API keys, for owners on Team and Enterprise. Name a key for the system that will use it, tick what it may do (read; write telemetry; read the audit log), copy it once. Revoke from the same page; both are written to the audit log.
New GET /api/v1/studies and /studies/{ref}: the study as the app sees it — plan file, scale and extent, racks and aisles counted, every scenario with fleet lines, assumptions, throughput line by line, the aisle check and which machine it was checked against. Travel distance is derived from the plan when it is not typed in, exactly as the Simulation page does.
New POST /api/v1/studies/{ref}/telemetry takes run data straight from a fleet manager or WMS, up to five thousand rows a call, replacing a machine-day that already exists and saying which rows it skipped and why.
New GET /api/v1/machines and /catalogue return your library and the sourced catalogue with their datasheets; /audit returns the log for keys with that scope.
New A full reference under Docs → The API: keys, calling it, every endpoint, what a study looks like, sending run data, errors and versioning.

Yours to take, yours to delete

Delete a study, export the whole organisation as one archive, remove your own account, or delete the organisation outright — all from inside the app, nothing to ask us for.

New Delete a study from the studies list or the bottom of its edit page. Owners can delete any study; members the ones they created. The plan file, markup, scenarios, fleet, assumptions, telemetry and share links go with it, and the audit log records it.
New Settings → Your data → Download the export: one zip with every study (plan, markup geometry, scenarios, fleet, assumptions, telemetry, share links) as JSON, the original plan files, every machine profile as CSV in the columns Integrations imports, your people, and the audit log.
New Delete the organisation, for owners on auddomate.com: type its name and your password and everything goes at once, subscription included. A confirmation is emailed; the only trace kept is a note that an organisation of that name was deleted.
New A member can leave an organisation and remove their own account from Settings. Their studies stay; the owners are emailed.
Improved The row menu on the studies list now offers Open, Site Layout, Report and Delete — the placeholders that did nothing are gone.

An audit log for every organisation: sign-ins, changes to studies and machines, sharing, team and security — filterable, downloadable, kept for two years.

New Audit log under Organisation, for owners. Each entry names the person, the moment, what they did and what it was done to, with a line of detail: the file name, the machine, the status a study moved from and to.
New Sixty kinds of event across seven groups: access, security, team, studies, library, sharing and export, account and licence. Failed sign-ins and recovery-code sign-ins are recorded; so is every time a share link is opened by someone outside the organisation.
New Filter by kind, person or date; search by study reference, file or machine; download the filtered view as CSV for procurement or information security.
Improved Continuous edits — moving shapes on the layout, nudging a quantity — are recorded once per quarter-hour rather than on every change, so the log reads as a story rather than a stream.
Improved The demo sandbox carries six weeks of plausible history so the log can be seen with real shape in it.

No surprises at renewal

Owners see a plan or licence coming to an end inside the app, well before it does, and know exactly what happens after.

New A bar across the app for owners when a licence is within thirty days of expiry, has expired, or has been revoked — and on auddomate.com when a payment has failed, a plan is set to end within fourteen days, or an organisation has come down to Free with more active studies than Free allows. Each links to the page that resolves it.
New The Updates page carries a Your licence card: who it is licensed to, the expiry date, days remaining, what happens when it lapses, and a button to ask about renewing.
New Owners of a self-hosted installation are emailed thirty days before the licence expires, seven days before, and on the day. The licence contact hears the same from us.
New A subscription that has been cancelled now shows the date it ends on Billing and in the bar, with an email when the cancellation is set and another when the plan has ended. Annual plans get a reminder fourteen days before renewal.
New Renew 12 months on Platform → Licences extends a licence from its current expiry and emails the contact the new date. Licences within thirty days of expiry are flagged in the list.
Improved When a plan ends, nothing is deleted: every study stays readable and printable. Help and the docs say so in as many words, and the Billing page counts what is over the Free allowance rather than hiding it.
Improved Dates inside notices and bars are shown in your language and format rather than as raw year-month-day.
Fixed Three confirmation dialogs — deleting a scenario, deleting the sample study, and removing sample data from Settings — showed their key names instead of a question. All three read properly.

Questions back where they belong

Two guides were showing their answer as the question, and sample data can now be removed from Settings.

Fixed In Help and Support, the guides on the aisle check and on machine profiles showed the answer text in place of the question. Both read properly again.
New Settings gains a Sample data card while the sample study exists, so it can be removed at any time — not only from the first-steps card on the dashboard. It deletes that one study and its drawing and nothing else.
Improved Single sign-on is written as "single sign-on (SSO)" where it is first offered, since that is what most people call it.

A first hour that goes somewhere

A new account arrives with a worked sample study and a short checklist, and the guides caught up with the last month of work.

New Every new organisation gets a sample study — a cold store with a scaled plan, marked-up aisles, a fleet and a simulation — so the whole shape of the work is visible before building your own. It does not count against your plan's study limit and can be deleted in one click.
New A first-steps card on the dashboard: create a study, upload a plan, build a fleet, say what the site must move. Each ticks itself off as you do it, and the card can be hidden for good.
Improved Help and Support gained guides on the sample study, the machine catalogue, comparing two fleets with scenarios, sending a report to a client, and locking an account down with two-step verification or single sign-on.
Fixed The guide on the aisle check still described the old single machine on a study; it now explains that the check follows the most demanding machine on the fleet, and the machine-profile guide points at the catalogue for real figures.

New The scheduled task writes a nightly backup: a complete SQL dump of every table plus every plan, mark and picture, in one archive. The most recent are kept and older ones removed.
New Platform → Installations lists the backups with their size and a download button, and marks the set stale when the newest is more than two days old.
Improved A failed backup sends one email and keeps the card marked until a later night succeeds.

The scheduled task now raises a hand when something is wrong, and the demo shows scenarios.

New The scheduled task watches for a failing status check, a licensed installation that has gone quiet for three days, and a subscription whose payment did not go through. Each sends one short email and stays quiet until it clears.
New Two of the demo studies now carry a second scenario — a manual fallback fleet and a half-size AMR fleet — so the comparison table on the report is there to see without building one first.

Housekeeping on a schedule

The jobs that should not wait for someone to open a page now run on their own.

New A scheduled task that expires demo sandboxes, takes the hourly status sample, clears spent handovers, used reset links, old sign-in records and long-expired share links, and sends a reminder thirty days before a licence expires.
New Platform → Installations shows when the task last ran, what it did, and the private address to point a scheduler at. It says plainly when the task has not run within the hour.
Improved The status page history no longer depends on somebody visiting it, so the ninety-day strips stay continuous.

Fleet A against fleet B on the same building, side by side in the report.

New A study can hold up to eight scenarios. Each has its own machines and its own assumptions; the site plan, the markup and the aisles are shared, so every scenario is measured against the same building.
New Scenario tabs on the Fleet page. The plus duplicates the one you are in so you can change a single thing and see what it does; the menu renames, starts an empty one, or deletes.
New When a study has more than one scenario, the report gains a comparison table: machines, units, capacity, requirement, headroom and verdict for each, with the open one highlighted.
Improved Site Layout and Simulation name the scenario you are in, in the panel and in the project tree, so it is always clear which answer is on screen. The aisle check follows the scenario, so swapping a machine changes the clearance verdict on the same drawing.

A licence agreement and a data processing agreement your reviewer can read before speaking to anyone.

New A Software Licence Agreement covering both the hosted service and a self-hosted installation: what the licence allows, what it does not, support, your ownership of your work, and the limits of an estimate. Written to be signed as it stands, and we will also read and sign your own paper.
New A Data Processing Agreement written for a security review: what we process and why, how it is protected, the full sub-processor list, international transfers, breach notification within 72 hours, audit, and deletion. It states plainly that a self-hosted installation leaves us nothing to process.
Improved Both documents are linked from the footer, the Enterprise page and each other, and the sub-processor list names whether card payments are actually in use rather than listing a provider we have not switched on.

The whole study in one tree beside the canvas, and a line on the report showing how the verdict was reached.

New A project tree at the top of the panel on Site Layout and Simulation: the plan and what you have drawn on it, the fleet and its machines, the simulation, the report and any shared links. Groups open and close and are remembered.
New Clicking a shape type in the tree selects one of those shapes on the plan and steps through them on each click, so finding the third aisle no longer means hunting for it.
New A short chain on the report — travel distance, longest cycle, capacity, requirement, verdict — so a reader can see at a glance where the number came from and which step to argue with.

Two-step verification

A code from your authenticator app on top of your password, with recovery codes and an owner switch to require it.

New Settings → Two-step verification: scan the square with any authenticator app, confirm a code, and sign-ins ask for six digits after your password. Ten recovery codes are shown once for the day you lose your phone, and can be reissued at any time.
New Owners can require two-step verification for everyone in the organisation. Anyone who has not set it up is walked through it the next time they sign in, and nobody can turn theirs off while the requirement stands.
New The Team page marks who signs in through your identity provider with SSO and who has two-step verification on with 2FA, so an owner can see at a glance how the organisation gets in.
Improved Turning two-step verification on or off sends a notice to the account's email, in the account's language.

Share a report

A read-only link a client opens without an account, that you can expire or withdraw.

New A Share button on every report. Say who the link is for and whether it lasts seven, thirty or ninety days or until withdrawn; copy the address and send it. Readers see the report under a light header with your organisation's name and mark, and can print it or save it as a PDF — nothing else.
New The Share panel lists every link for a study with who made it, when it expires and how many times it has been opened. Revoke closes a link at once; a closed or expired link shows a short page asking for a fresh one.
Improved Reports open on the study you last had open, like the other study pages.

Single sign-on

Sign in through the identity provider you already run.

New Enterprise organisations can connect Okta, Microsoft Entra, Google Workspace or any OpenID Connect provider from Settings → Single sign-on: issuer, client ID and secret, your email domain, and a Test sign-in button that proves the round trip.
New A "Use single sign-on" link on the sign-in page. On a self-hosted installation it goes straight to your provider; on the cloud it finds your organisation from your email domain.
New People in your directory can join on their first sign-in, matched to an existing member by email or created as a new member. Owners can require single sign-on for members while keeping their own password as a fallback.
Improved Every sign-in uses the authorization code flow with PKCE; the provider's signature, issuer, audience, expiry and nonce are all checked, and the client secret is stored encrypted.
Fixed Returning to the page you were on after signing in works with the clean addresses introduced earlier this year.

Five studies, front to back

The demo is smaller and every study in it is complete. Plans read like drawings. The study you are in stays with you.

New The demo now holds five complete studies — Northgate DC, the Rotterdam cold store, the Dover cross-dock, Aldermoor grocery inbound and Bay 4 at Beaune — each with a scaled plan, a marked-up layout, a fleet with a catalogue model, a simulation, telemetry and a report. Nothing half-finished, nothing to get stuck on.
New Five new site plans drawn as an integrator would draw them: walls, racking runs, loading dock doors, charge stations, offices, cold chambers, with labels. Labels in any DXF now render on the plan.
New Inside a study, the top bar carries tabs for Site Layout, Fleet, Simulation and Report, so moving between them is a tab switch, not leaving the work. The report page joins the study switcher.
Fixed Pages no longer flash internal names for a moment before the words appear; navigation, breadcrumbs and page titles arrive in English straight away and then in your language.
Fixed The Machine Library's "Used in" column showed an internal name instead of the count.

Real makes and models, every figure read from the manufacturer's datasheet on a stated date.

New A Catalogue under Library: named models from Linde, Toyota, Jungheinrich, Crown, MiR, OTTO Motors, Locus Robotics and Seegrid, with minimum aisle, travel speed, payload and footprint, and beside each one the datasheet it was read from and when. Search, and filter by class or vendor.
New Add to library copies a model into your own library with its provenance kept; from the Fleet page, Browse the catalogue lets you put a model on the fleet in one step. A model already in your library says so and links to it.
New Machines that came from the catalogue show where their figures came from on the profile, and the report lists those sources under the fleet, so a reader can check the numbers.
Improved Where a datasheet does not publish a figure, the catalogue leaves it blank rather than guessing, and says so in the model's note. The aisle figure follows the 1000 × 1200 pallet crossways convention throughout so makes compare like for like.
Improved The demo's fleets include catalogue models, so the provenance shows on demo reports.

The fleet builder

One place to decide what runs on a site, and the rest of the study follows.

New The Fleet page is a builder: your machine library sits on the right with search and class filters, each machine showing its minimum aisle, travel speed and payload; one click adds it. Lines on the left have a units stepper, a 1 / 2 / 3 shifts switch, and Swap — change the machine, keep the units and shifts.
Improved The machine a study's aisles are checked against is now the most demanding machine on its fleet, named in the Site Layout panel and on the report. The separate "Modelled for" choice is gone, so a study can no longer be checked against a machine it does not run.
Improved Fleet totals — units, widest aisle needed, combined payload, footprint — are a single strip above the builder.
Improved The machine profile is grouped as Footprint, Manoeuvring and Performance, each with a line on what it affects. Choosing a class fills blank figures with what is typical for that class in your library. Editing a machine that is on studies' fleets says how many.
Improved The Machine Library lists travel speed and how many studies use each machine. The navigation item is simply "Fleet"; the library keeps its own name.
Improved Fleet opens on the study you last had open, like Simulation and Site Layout, with the study switcher in the breadcrumb.

Site Layout, as a workbench

The plan fills the screen. The tools move to the toolbar, the detail to a panel and a drawer, and the keyboard does the rest.

New Site Layout uses the same workbench as Simulation: the plan takes the whole canvas on the fine grid, with the file, scale, modelled machine and marked-up areas in a panel on the left that folds away with one click or the [ key.
New The drawing tools — select, racking, aisle, dock, obstruction, snap — sit in the toolbar with their keys shown: V, R, A, D, B and S. F fits the plan. Delete removes the selected shape. A Keys tab in the drawer lists them all.
New A Shapes drawer along the bottom lists every rectangle with its size, area and, for aisles, whether it clears the machine on the study. Click a row to select that shape on the plan; delete from the row.
New A verdict pill in the toolbar says how many aisles clear, or how many are too narrow — or that the scale or machine is still to be set.
New The cursor's position on the plan reads out in real units, and the zoom shows as a percentage of the fitted view.
Improved The selected shape and its real dimensions show in the toolbar instead of the side card, so nothing covers the drawing. Set scale lives in the panel's Scale section, next to the current scale.
Improved Replace and remove plan are quiet links at the foot of the panel rather than buttons in the middle of it.

Straight to the study

Simulation and Site Layout open where you left off, and switching study is one click in the breadcrumb.

New The study name in the breadcrumb is now a menu. Open it to jump to any other study — each row shows its status colour and reference, and a filter appears once you have more than eight.
Improved Opening Simulation or Site Layout from the navigation goes straight to the study you last had open on either page, or your most recently updated study. The list you used to pick from is gone.

New A status page at /status: the application, database, plan storage, releases, email, the demo and card payments, checked live each time it is opened, with ninety days of history and a JSON version for your own monitoring.

Auddomate can now run on a server you control, and this is how it gets there and stays current.

New A public Releases page at /releases: every version, its date, what changed, size and SHA-256 checksum. Enterprise customers download the package there with their licence key; everyone else is already on the latest, because it is what this site runs.
New Licence keys, tied to a domain, checked on every download and update. A revoked key stops both immediately.
New Every package is versioned to match the changelog and carries its own release manifest, so a customer can verify what they downloaded against what was published.
New Licensed installations can check in once a day and learn whether a newer release exists, along with what changed and what it needs. The one-click update that acts on it is next.

Five more languages, and a demo with nothing left to set up

Spanish, French, Hindi, Korean and Polish, complete, and a sandbox where every study has a fleet, a model and a shift to play.

New Spanish, French, Hindi, Korean and Polish, complete: every one of the 689 interface strings, the help answers, the shift, the sliders and the error messages. Nine languages now, each a first language, none a translation layer. The French is written to read naturally in Quebec as well as in France; the Hindi uses Devanagari throughout with the industry's English loanwords where a Hindi coinage would puzzle the floor.
New A language band under the homepage hero: nine flags stepping across like a conveyor, each with its own name in its own script, fading at the edges. The four-language line in the feature ticker and the stat beneath it were stale and now say nine.
New Reports produced in a demo sandbox carry a DEMO watermark and a note that they are not for client use, on screen and in print. CSV and JSON export are switched off in sandboxes; the example files for trying the importers still download.
New Every study in the demo organisation now carries a fleet and a simulation, so the shift plays on all sixteen. Fleets span all eleven machine classes; utilisation runs from 47 to 103 per cent; eight studies have telemetry and three of those came in under their requirement, because that is what telemetry does.
Improved The Vantor and Pell & Roux case studies now report the telemetry on their follow-on studies, both of which fell short of the model. The page is less flattering and more useful.
New A flag beside every language in the user menu and on the Appearance page, drawn as inline SVG rather than emoji so they look the same on Windows as everywhere else. The Stars and Stripes stands for English.

The shift

A day on the floor, compressed to a minute, drawn from nothing but the numbers already in the report.

New A play button on the Simulation page. Each unit in the fleet moves between the dock and the racking on the study's own plan at its rated speed, pauses for its handling time, and a counter climbs as cycles complete. A clock shows the shift and the hour; units whose shifts are over park at the dock and dim.
New Every position on screen depends only on the clock and the model's inputs — scrub backwards and forwards and the picture is identical. No chip ever waits for another, because the model assumes none do. The animation is the upper bound made visible, not a simulation of a warehouse.
New A what-if panel under the animation: drag travel distance, handling time or hours per shift, change units or shifts on any line, and the modelled figure, utilisation, headroom and the moment the requirement is met all update live. Nothing is saved until you use the assumptions form or the Fleet page.
New Where telemetry exists, a dashed marker on the progress bar shows the average actually delivered, so the upper bound and the floor sit on the same line.
New Aisles narrower than the study's machine needs are drawn red in the animation, as in the clearance check.

Case studies with nothing made up but the names

Four warehouses, every number shown. The firms are invented; the arithmetic is the product's own.

New A case studies page at /cases. Northgate Cold Chain, Halyard Freight, Pell & Roux Wine and Vantor Distribution — the same fictional clients that live in every demo organisation — each with the question they asked, what the plan showed, what the model said, and what the telemetry did afterwards.
New Every figure on the page is computed live by the same model that runs the product, from the same plans, fleets and inputs as the demo. If the model changes, the case studies change with it. Nothing is typed in.
New Each chapter carries the real plan geometry drawn as an SVG with the clearance result on it — the aisle that fails is red — plus the fleet table, the utilisation bar, and the delivered figure against the modelled one.
New One study does not clear its requirement and one came in 22 per cent under its model. They are on the page because that is what an upper bound looks like when it meets a floor, and a page of wins would not be believed.

New Every sentence, fact, hex value and email address on the page is click-to-copy. A toast confirms what was copied and how much.

New The five wrong ways to use the wordmark, shown with the real file mistreated on purpose — stretched, recoloured, rotated, shadowed, and on a busy ground — next to the one right way.

Improved The facts on the press page come from the product itself rather than being typed, so they cannot drift from it.
Improved Product images on the press page are now every core screen on a MacBook, in light and dark, with a switch between the two. Six per theme, 2,400 pixels wide, in the kit.
New Three colours join the published palette: Moss, a quieter green for charts and dark grounds; Oak, a warm accent that is never used for text on sand; and Slate, the secondary text colour that was already in use but had not been named.
Fixed The marketing wordmark linked to the site root, which serves the dashboard to anyone signed in. It now always goes to the marketing homepage; the application wordmark always goes to the dashboard.
Fixed The 404 page had no base URL, so on a nested address every link in its navigation resolved into the missing folder. It now carries one, and the skip link is written so it still jumps within the page.

An accessibility statement, and the fixes that make it true

Every claim on the new page was checked against the product before it was written, and four things were changed so the page could say them.

New An accessibility statement at /accessibility, measured against WCAG 2.2 AA. It lists the contrast ratio of every text colour, what the keyboard can do, how motion is handled, and the two things that do not work yet — the canvas plan viewer and white text on the brand green.
New A Skip to content link on every page of the site and the application, in all four languages. It appears on the first press of Tab.
Improved Every marketing page now has a main landmark, so screen readers can jump past the navigation.
Improved A visible focus ring in the brand green across the whole marketing site. Previously only the app had one.

Fixed On a phone, a documentation article began with 1,300 pixels of sidebar links before the first paragraph. The sidebar now collapses into a Browse the docs control that shows the current section and opens on tap.
Fixed The docs article and legal pages could overflow sideways on a phone when a table was wider than the screen. The layout column now shrinks to the viewport and wide tables scroll inside their own frame.

Every kind of machine a study might involve, seeded on day one — and a deliberate decision about what not to ship.

New The starter library grows from seven profiles to twenty-nine across eleven classes: counterbalance at four capacities, reach and double-deep, VNA, pallet trucks, stackers, low, mid and high-level order pickers, articulated narrow-aisle, tow tractors at three capacities, pallet and tote AMRs including case-picking and goods-to-person, and forked, unit-load and tugger AGVs.

No signup, no shared state, no way to spoil it for the next visitor.

New One click on the sign-in page creates a private sandbox, seeded with studies, plans, machines, fleets, simulations and history.
New Sandboxes are deleted automatically after six hours, and there is a per-address hourly limit so one visitor cannot fill the database.
New Settings and Appearance: profile, organisation name, password, theme, language and units, saved to the account rather than the browser, so preferences follow you between machines.
New Avatar upload, square-cropped and resized to 256 pixels on the server.
Improved Demo visitors now see the settings they cannot change, greyed out and labelled, instead of having them hidden. Only the sign-in details are locked; the organisation name is theirs to rename.
Improved The demo now shows a realistic spread of study statuses rather than four equal columns.
Fixed Every write a demo visitor can reach is refused on the server, not merely disabled in the interface.

The aisle check and the machine library

The question a buyer always asks, answered on the drawing.

New Every aisle you draw is measured across its narrow side and compared with the minimum aisle width of the machine set on the study. Anything under turns red on the plan and is listed in the report.
New A machine library seeded with seven vendor-neutral profiles — AMR pallet and tote, counterbalance, reach, VNA turret, powered pallet and tow tractor — all editable, all replaceable with figures from a spec sheet.
New Machine profiles carry turning radius, minimum aisle, lift height, rated capacity and travel speed, which is everything the model and the clearance check need.
Fixed Changing language reverted the machine picker to a stale label, so the check could be run against a machine other than the one named on screen.

Draw the layout

Racks, aisles, docks and obstructions, snapped to the real world.

New Draw, select, move and resize rectangles typed as racking, aisle, dock or obstruction, and get areas per type in real units.
New Snapping to a grid derived from the plan's own scale, and to the drawing's own corners and vertices.
New Pan, zoom and fit, with the view holding its centre when the window resizes rather than jumping to the corner.
New Everything autosaves, so a closed tab does not cost you the markup.
Fixed The whole layout module failed silently on load because a dialog it expected sat outside the element it was searching.
Fixed The sidebar menu was being overlapped by page content. A sticky position with no stacking order had trapped the menu beneath it.

Site Layout — read the building

The step that turns a drawing into measurements.

New Upload an ASCII DXF, a PDF, or a PNG, JPEG or WebP image.
New A DXF reader written for this purpose, handling lines, polylines, circles, arcs, solids and block inserts including row and column arrays.
New DXF files carry their own units, so the scale is read from the file header and nothing is asked of you.
New A two-point scale tool for PDFs and images: click the two ends of something you know the length of, and type that length.
New PDFs are rasterised in the browser, which avoids depending on server-side image tooling that shared hosting rarely provides.
Fixed DXF files that declared their units were being read as unitless. The declared units are now honoured.
Fixed A scale of one millimetre displayed as "0 in" in imperial. Precision now scales with magnitude.
Fixed The scale bar was rounding to neat numbers in millimetres and then converting, producing readings like 65.6 ft. It now rounds in the unit being displayed.
Fixed Replacing a plan left the old file on disk and its row in the database.

Named, and wired to real data

The prototype becomes a product.

New The platform takes the name Auddomate.
Improved The dashboard shows live figures rather than fixed content: study counts, status distribution, median payback, delivery rate, recent activity and clients by volume.
Improved Every query is scoped by organisation. A study or machine belonging to another account returns a 404 rather than a permission error.
Fixed The first dashboard tile could render blank. It no longer does.

Accounts, studies and four complete languages from the first day.

New Accounts and organisations, with rate-limited sign-in and bcrypt password storage.
New Studies: create them, track them through draft, modelling, review and delivered, and attach them to a client.
New English, Deutsch, 日本語 and 简体中文, complete rather than partial. There is no English left in the markup.
New Units are a separate axis from language, so a German user can work in imperial and a British one in metric.
New Light and dark themes, and a layout that holds from a phone through a tablet rail to a wide desktop.
Fixed A stray Korean character had found its way into one of the Japanese strings.
