Inviting people

By link, with no mail server involved.

#How it works

  1. An owner opens Team and creates an invitation, optionally labelled with the invitee's email and choosing the role.
  2. Auddomate produces a link. Copy it and send it however you like — email, chat, a message.
  3. The recipient opens the link, enters their name and a password of their own, and lands inside your organisation.

The link works once and expires after seven days. Pending invitations are listed with their expiry and can be revoked at any time.

Anyone holding the link can join until it is used or expires. Treat it like a password.

Auddomate does not send email. That keeps it deployable on any host without mail configuration, and keeps your invitees' addresses out of a system that would otherwise have to store and send to them. You already have a way to message the person; use it.
