#Printing

Open Reports, choose the study, and use the browser's print command. The document is styled for paper: no navigation, no sidebar, page breaks in sensible places. Choose Save as PDF in the print dialog for a file.

#Download PDF

Download PDF on the report page makes the file on the server and hands it to you: the same document whatever computer or browser it is opened from, with fonts embedded, the site layout drawn as vectors (aisles that fail the clearance check tinted red), the fleet and the model for every scenario, and the provenance line at the foot. It follows your language and units. The same button on a saved version gives you that version; a client with a share link gets a Download PDF button too, in whatever language they are reading the page in.

Print is still there for the browser's own rendering — the full page with the marked-up drawing — and Save as PDF in the print dialog still works. Use the download when the file is going somewhere: attached to an email, into a document system, alongside a quotation.

Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese text in the downloaded file uses the reader's own CJK font through the standard Adobe character collections rather than an embedded one, which keeps the file small and is how every PDF reader expects those scripts. Hindi is embedded; conjunct letters are drawn in their component form.

#Language

The report follows the interface language. Switch to 日本語 from the user menu and print a Japanese report; switch back and print the English one. Units follow the units setting independently.

#Dark mode

Reports use their own colours regardless of the interface theme, so printing from dark mode gives you dark ink on white paper, not the reverse.
