Studies and their statuses
What a study holds, the four statuses it moves through, and what changes as it does.
A study is one question about one site: can this fleet, in this building, move what it needs to move, and what does that cost. Everything else in Auddomate — the plan, the fleet, the simulation, the telemetry, the report — hangs off a study.

- Reference
- Generated, in the form
ST-1001, unique within your organisation. It appears on the report and in exports. - Name and site
- Free text. The site is the building; the name is the question.
- Client
- Optional. Clients are shared across studies and ranked on the dashboard.
- Machine
- The machine the aisle clearance check is run against. A fleet can contain several machines; the clearance check uses this one.
- Template
- Optional. See Templates.
- Payback
- Months, typed by you. Auddomate does not compute payback; it carries your figure into the report and the dashboard.
#The four statuses
- Draft — created, not yet modelled. Nothing is required of a draft.
- Modelling — a plan, fleet or simulation exists and the work is in progress.
- In review — the report has gone to the client. Counted on the dashboard as awaiting review.
- Delivered — the study is finished. It still can be edited; the status is a record, not a lock.
Statuses are set by hand from the study form. Auddomate never moves a study on its own, because whether a report has been sent is something only you know.
Deleting a study removes its plan, markup, fleet lines, simulation inputs and telemetry. Machines and clients are shared and survive. Export first if you want a copy: see Exporting your data.
