What you need

Auddomate runs entirely in your browser, on your own graphics card. There's nothing to install and no account to make.

  • A recent Chrome, Edge or Safari on a computer. They all support WebGPU, the technology Auddomate uses to talk to your graphics card.
  • A graphics card from the last few years. Built-in graphics work for most scenes; a dedicated card renders faster and handles bigger models.
  • Enough memory for your model. Models with several million triangles need a few gigabytes of graphics memory.

If the studio says it can't start, your browser or graphics card may not support WebGPU yet. The troubleshooting page walks through what to try.

Common questions

Is my work uploaded anywhere?

No. Your models, textures, HDRIs and renders are read and rendered on your computer and never leave it. We don't see them, and we don't want to. See our Privacy policy for the details.

Who owns my renders?

You do. Use them however you like, including commercially. The Terms say so in writing.

Does Auddomate cost anything?

Auddomate is free to use, and the studio you use today stays free. A Pro plan, for people who render for a living, is coming soon. See Pricing for what it will include.

How does Auddomate compare with KeyShot, Blender or Octane?

We've written an honest comparison with the renderers people ask about most, including where each one is the better choice. See How we compare.

Where are my saved scenes and renders kept?

In your browser, on this computer. Clearing your browser's data for auddomate.com removes them, so download anything that matters. Saving your scenes explains how.

Which file formats can I bring in?

glTF and GLB, and OBJ with its MTL file and textures. HDRIs as .hdr or .exr. Bringing in your model covers each 3D app step by step.

How do I know the light is right?

Auddomate checks itself against pbrt-v4, the open reference renderer. You can run the checks yourself from the studio's toolbar. Checks against pbrt-v4 explains what each one tests.

  • Your browser and computer, for example Chrome on a MacBook Pro.
  • The check results: open Checks in the studio, run them, and press Copy results. They include your graphics card and browser version.
  • A screenshot or a saved render, if you can share one. Please don't send models you aren't free to share.
